EMBRACE ALL THE LIVING SPIRITUAL TEACHINGS OF THE WORLD, AND KNOW THE FREEDOM OF LOVE. LET GO FOR EVER ALL THE DEAD RELIGIOUS FEARS OF THE WORLD, THAT HAVE CORRUPTED AND ENSNARED US. OUR SPIRITUAL DESTINY, AND OUR SACRED DUTY AT THIS TIME OF SPIRITUAL EVOLUTION FOR OUR BEAUTIFUL MOTHER EARTH, OUR HOLY GAIA, IS TO EMBRACE THE GOOD AND BEAUTY, THE TRUE SACRED SPIRITUALITY, IN ALL THE WORLD’S FAITHS, AND ALL THE WORLD’S EMERGING FAITHS. OUR SPIRITUAL DESTINY AND OUR SACRED SPIRITUAL DUTY IS TO AT LAST TRANSCEND THE FEAR AND DARKNESS THAT LIES IN THOSE FAITHS THAT PROCLAIM JUST ONE WAY. ONLY WITH THAT TRANSCENDENCE CAN WE MANIFEST OUR SPIRITUAL HEALING OF OURSELVES, OF EACH OTHER, OF OUR COMMUNITIES AND OF OUR MOTHER EARTH, OUR HOLY GAIA.
The new faiths of around one and two millennia ago, along with the extraordinary spiritual and religious impetus of the Axial Age between the eighth and the third centuries BCE saw profound impulses of thinking that eased humanity away from an apparent need to propitiate seemingly indifferent deities into a sense of personal involvement and responsibility for the individual’s relationship with any deities, along with the individual’s relationship with his or her society, culture and world. With Christianity we see another profound insight with regards to our relationship with the Divine. For the original Christian message proclaimed the love that the Deity had for all ‘His’ creation. This was a profound moment in human history. And yet it did not take long for the new freedom from fear of the Deity to be subsumed by an ever more intense fear of the Deity through the ever more present and ever more vivid teachings of Divine retribution and subsequent eternal suffering. The great moment in human history, where we humans could sense the presence of the Divine as being as complete and perfect and loving as the love our mothers have for us, was overturned. The Divine became masculine, patriarchal, and vengeful: unremittingly and dreadfully so. The Divine’s love was all but lost to us, and it is only now that we seek and fashion new ways to reconnect what should always have been our loving, eternal birthright. Our old religions are not so much under threat of redundancy or irrelevance, as we are on the brink of realising a future with all that is good and wholesome in them, and without all that is dark and limiting about them. A new world!
These are extraordinary times. The spiritual hope that the various religious transformations through the last three thousand years brought to us, might actually be on the brink of being realised. That realisation was lost to us through the darkness and lust for power that can breed deep in us. Freed of that, we can bring light again to our lives and to our Mother Earth, our Holy Gaia. What we believe, what might be described as the minutiae of faith, can at last be seen as immaterial to our spiritual wellbeing. What is material to our spiritual wellbeing is the true state of our minds and our souls. Are we inclusive in all that we do, or are we exclusive? Do we embrace the needs of others, and for that matter the needs of our Mother Earth, our Holy Gaia, or do we distance ourselves, separate ourselves, from those needs? Heaven is not something we can earn through our beliefs; it is earned only through what we are. Our spiritual, religious, mystical and sacred destiny is to kneels in prayer with all our brothers and sisters, is to rejoice in the spiritual paths of all our brothers and sisters, is to be ONE with ALL our brothers and sisters. The early Christians got it absolutely right: it is LOVE. And love is what we feel, what we are, when we achieve / experience / live connection with OTHER.
This is the true meaning of our time. This is the opportunity and indeed the test of our time. Our spiritual awakening and unfolding are within the potential embrace of our outstretched and loving arms. We can bring healing to ourselves, and healing to our Mother Earth, our Holy Gaia, by at last shaking off all the dogma and doctrines of our various religions, and by at last living the real and central and elemental truth of all our religions, that ALL is ONE, and that all spiritual paths lead us ALL to God. ALL the paths. For ALL is ONE.
Buddhism, Christianity and Islam
Released us from fear of the ancient Gods.
Yet still we make these newer faiths:
Vehicles of fear.
